DESIGN DRAFT 3D

Who I am?

I’m Julia Kantor. I love Design. It has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I find joy in creating beautiful spaces, embracing simple forms, and collaborating with interesting people. Laughter, positivity, and a good slice of cake also make my day brighter.

Why Moodboard is important?

I totally love moodboards because they help me get the feel of a design. When I throw in all  the key’s element together like colors, textures, and important details, it’s like I can picture the perfect interior or exterior in my mind. They make it so much easier for me to show off my creative ideas and bring them to life. Moodboards are like magic—they spice up my design process and make sure the end result matches the look I had in mind from the start. It’s just awesome!

Why Drafting is necessary?

Drafting is super important because it’s like the language I use to have conversations with contractors, vendors, estimators, and prefabricators. When I put everything down in drawings, they get all the nitty-gritty details of the plans and designs, making it easier for them to turn our dream into reality. It’s like giving them a roadmap to follow, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and can work together seamlessly. Without drafting, it’d be like talking in code and leaving everyone guessing, and that’s definitely not how we make dreams come true!

Who Needs Renderings and Visualizations?

Renderings and visualizations are like magic for clients, especially owners and potential buyers. They can’t wait to see their dreams come alive instantly! These awesome tools work wonders. With renderings and cool animations, they can virtually wander through the spaces, play with colors and finishes, imagine their family photos on accent walls, and even try out different pillow colors. It’s an emotional journey that helps them truly feel the space and see all its amazing possibilities!

P.S.:

To me, all these tools are incredibly important because, in my mind, a designer acts as a bridge between future dreams and reality. They are the connectors, bringing together the “wants” of the client/owner and the “can-do” of the contractors, prefabricators, and vendors. It’s like merging two sometimes opposing views into one beautiful picture, and that’s where the designer’s true magic lies.
